Soil Sunrise Terra Preta Inspired Regenerative Soil Mix This Terra Preta-inspired potting mix is perfect for all kinds of plants, whether you're growing veggies, herbs, or flowers. Inspired by the ancient Amazonian “black earth,” it’s packed with nutrients to help your plants grow strong and healthy. The biochar boosts the soil’s ability to hold nutrients, while the compost and oyster flour give plants a steady supply of minerals. Lightweight ingredients like peat moss, perlite, and rice hulls keep the soil loose and well-draining, so roots stay happy and don’t get waterlogged. Whether you’re gardening indoors or outdoors, this mix is easy to use and gives your plants the best chance to thrive.Ingredients: Peat moss, biochar, compost, oyster flour, perlite and rice hullsTips for Use: This mix is ideal for potted herbs, flowering plants, moisture-loving plants, and foliage plants. For orchids/bromeliads, we recommend mixing our Terra Preta-Inspired Blend with Soil Sunrise Orchid Bark. And for succulents and cacti, we recommend adding some Soil Sunrise Rice Hulls or Soil Sunrise Perlite to increase drainage.

Worm castings are an ideal way to promote healthy plant growth due to the nutrients that they provide. They are so beneficial that some gardeners refer to worm castings as “black gold.” These benefits include concentrated nitrates, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium and calcium. Unlike animal manure and chemical fertilizers, all of these minerals go directly to the plant instead of having to be broken down first. They also improve soil quality as a soil amendment by increasing absorbency, releasing beneficial b@cteria and m1crobes and providing natural filtration of waste. Worm farm castings can also be used as food in hermit crab care as a supplemental feed source.BENEFITSProvides slow release fertilization to your plantsProvides nitrates, potassium, magnesium, calcium and phosphorusAll natural, no chemicals or additives; safe to use in organic gardeningHelps dirt to retain moistureProvides natural filtration of noxious substancesPopular for indoor use as they don’t introduce bugs, etc. like fresh compost or manureEncourages beneficial b@cteria and m1crobesTIP: Replenish nutrients and stimulate beneficial activity with extra castings once per month.INGREDIENTS: Organic earthworm castings
