Premium Plant Propagation Indoor Houseplant Potting Soil Mix

Give your cuttings and young plants a potting mix made specifically for propagation and early root development! Whether you're rooting fresh cuttings, potting newly rooted starts, or transplanting young plants into containers, Soil Sunrise Plant Propagation Potting Soil Mix combines quality ingredients in a convenient, ready-to-use blend for propagation projects and small container-grown plants.

Specially formulated for plant propagation, this blend combines moisture-retaining peat moss with perlite to support drainage, aeration, and a healthy root environment. Natural worm castings add an organic component to the blend, while lime helps balance the formulation, creating a ready-to-use propagation potting mix straight from the bag.

Key Benefits:

  • Propagation-Specific Formula: Specifically formulated for rooting cuttings, potting newly rooted plants, and supporting young container-grown plants and their unique growing needs.
  • Balanced Drainage & Moisture: Peat moss helps retain useful moisture, while perlite helps create air space and support drainage throughout the mix.
  • Pre-Blended & Ready to Use: Use this plant propagation potting soil straight from the bag with no need to purchase, measure, or mix several separate soil components.
  • Quality Ingredients: Contains peat moss, perlite, worm castings, and lime.

How Much Plant Propagation Potting Soil Do I Need?

Choose the bag size that best fits your propagation projects. The actual amount needed will vary depending on container size, number of cuttings, and how much growing media is needed for each plant.

4 qt: Small propagation projects, individual cuttings, or several small starter containers.
8 qt: Larger propagation projects, multiple cuttings, or several small to medium containers.

Why This Plant Propagation Soil Blend Works:

Peat Moss: Help retain useful moisture while contributing organic material and lightweight structure to the growing medium.
Horticultural Perlite: Adds organic structure while helping create air space throughout the mix while supporting drainage and root aeration.
Worm Castings: Add a natural organic component to the blend.
Lime: Helps adjust pH as part of the overall formulation.

Why Choose Soil Sunrise Plant Propagation Potting Soil?

Soil Sunrise Plant Propagation Potting Soil Mix takes the guesswork out of preparing a growing medium for cuttings and young plants. This ready-to-use blend combines moisture-retaining peat moss with porous perlite and natural worm castings to support drainage, aeration, and a balanced root environment—without the need to purchase and mix multiple soil components yourself.

Waste of money.

Waste of money. You could spend under 10 bucks for 40 quartz. It doesn’t do anything special to justify the cost.Highly disappointed.

The soil came packed safely and when opened it felt well maintained. I used it for propagating fig trees with success. We also purchased the clear plant pots and together you can see new root growth as well as moisture level with ease. If you love propagating this soil will work in most cases. This soil is better than buying soil like miracle grow which could be to strong for new baby plants. I have struggled using the soil and root hormone but it is not specifically intended for that so im happy.

I am new to growing my plants and veggies. I read some reviews on this and decided to try it. I mix this into my soil when I replant my seedlings into their forever planters. It appears to be helping. I do not have scientific results comparing seedling replants with the product vs. those without the product. Still, my overall feeling and assumptions (you know what they say about assumptions) is that it adds value to the growth of my plants, so that works for me! I will purchase it again!
