Elephant Ear Potting Soil Mix

This blend is custom-designed for container-grown Elephant Ear plants, plants from the Alocasia / Colocasia family. Elephant ears do best in loose, well-drained soil that is high in organic matter. This custom blend is a mix of peat moss, perlite, sand, worm castings, and lime. This potting mix is great for drainage, water retention, organic humus, and nutrient retention - making it a perfect choice for your elephant ear plants.

TIP: When caring for an indoor elephant ear plant, aim to mimic its natural tropical environment. Provide plenty of warmth and moisture near a sunny window.
